A social media platform that bridges divides

Sparkable is building the first nonprofit social media platform to highlight content that people from different sides appreciate.

🀍

Imagine a social media platform that unites rather than divides.

At Sparkable, we're building just that – a nonprofit platform designed to foster empathy and joy, steering clear of polarization and hate.

Find content that brings us together.

Ever wondered where to find high-quality content that resonates across different viewpoints?

Sparkable curates exceptional videos, articles, and podcasts appreciated by people with diverse perspectives.

Here's how it works:

Our bridging-based ranking system will amplify content that brings people together. Instead of promoting posts based on sheer popularity, we highlight posts that receive positive feedback from individuals who might typically disagree.

In other words, if a post is liked by people across the spectrum, it's a sign that it's bridging divides – and that's what we want to promote.

Sparkable is the first social media platform designed entirely around the concept of bridging-based ranking.

We need to challenge the status quo.

Let's face it: traditional social media platforms often prioritize engagement over empathy 1 2.

This ad-driven model tends to amplify sensational content, which can fuel radicalization, polarization, and hate 3 4. In the worst case, it can contribute to physical violence 5 6.

But what if we flipped the script?

By highlighting and boosting content that fosters understanding, we can create a more compassionate online environment.

Our vision: people over profit

At Sparkable, we're committed to putting people first.

As a nonprofit, our goal isn't to maximize profits but to maximize positive impact.

We believe that with intentional design choices, it's possible to build a platform that brings communities together.
