At Sparkable, we're building the first social media platform designed to bridge divides and contribute to mutual understanding, not division and hate.
We see that social media has an enormous power to shape beliefs and actions. It can be used to fuel radicalization and polarization 3 4. In the worst case, it can even contribute to physical violence 5 6. However, we believe that with intentional prosocial design, there is an incredible opportunity to do the opposite: to bridge divides, bring communities together, and build mutual trust.
We feel this mission is more urgent and important than ever, globally.

We’re seeking a Community Growth Lead to join us in scaling this mission-driven platform. In this volunteer role, you’ll be pivotal in designing and executing strategies to grow the number of people who use Sparkable regularly with joy. You'll help us increase community engagement, and amplify our impact. If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for building communities and driving meaningful change, we want to hear from you!
🚀 What you'll do:
• Drive community growth: Create and implement strategies to scale Sparkable’s user base and build a vibrant, engaged community.
• Connect with the community: Interact with the Sparkable community to gather insights and ensure alignment between platform features and user needs.
• Increase engagement: Analyze and refine growth strategies based on user feedback to help make Sparkable a healthy social media platform people love coming back to.
🎯 What you bring:
• Experience: Background in community management, engagement, growth, or marketing, ideally within a tech or digital space.
• People-centric approach: Strong listening and execution skills with the ability to design initiatives that foster connection and satisfaction.
• Creative Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset in addressing challenges and finding new ways to elevate the platform and its community.
