After successful gatherings in 🇬🇧 London and 🇽🇰 Pristina, we’re excited to host our next Tech + Democracy Meetup in 🇨🇭 Bern on October 22 — and you’re invited.

These meetups are about connection, conversation, and action. We believe that if we want technology to bolster democracy and social cohesion, we must come together, hash things out, and build relationships across disciplines and geographies.

Why we do this

Sparkable is a nonprofit building a social media platform designed to strengthen democracy and social cohesion. Over the past few months, we have held in-person meetups in 🇩🇪 Berlin, 🇬🇧 London, and 🇽🇰 Pristina, together with partners such as Build Up, Newspeak House, and FLOSSK. The energy, ideas, and new connections we’ve seen have been deeply motivating.

These gatherings help surface shared challenges, spark collaboration, and support people already doing the hard work at the intersection of tech and democracy.

What to expect at our meetups

An interactive, informal format focused on meeting others and exploring shared questions
